Shopify

The Shopify connector brings orders and store identity into Apex so revenue and environment stay honest. Connect it the same way you connect Stripe: from Integrations, not from a special Shopify product.

Connect

Open Integrations

Go to Integrations (or Set up Apex and pick Shopify on the revenue step). Click Connect on the Shopify card.

Enter the store domain

Apex sends you to that store's Shopify admin to approve. The domain is required. Apex will not guess a store.

Approve in Shopify

Grant the read scopes Apex asks for. After you return, the card reads Connected.

Mark live vs development

If you have more than one store, open Settings → Workspace → Environments and mark each connected store as live or development. That is how Apex keeps Test stores out of Production.

Warning

Only connect a store you own. The authorize URL is built on the store you typed. A wrong domain sends the request to the wrong admin.

What Apex uses this for

  • Orders as revenue events, so experiments and letters can be judged on money
  • Which store an order came from, so Dev and Production do not mix
  • Identity when the order has an email Apex already knows

Refunds and failed checkouts follow the same rules as other revenue connectors: only completed money counts.
