Adaptive Branches (retired)
Adaptive Branches are retired. You cannot create a new one.
They were a Branch step that used Thompson sampling to pick an arm. That job now belongs to the Experiment step on an Adaptive Journey. A Branch only routes:
- On a rule — something already true about the person
- On engagement — what they did with the last Send. See Engagement Branching
If an older journey still has an Adaptive Branch, it keeps running. Do not add new ones. To compare two letters, add an Experiment step.
