Letters

A letter is a communication you send: email, in-app, or push. Apex keeps the look, the job, and the send path as three different things.

Hub

Open Communications. That list is every letter in the workspace. Draft, publish, and preview live there. A letter is not a journey. A journey sends a letter.

Themes and templates

• Theme is the look: type, color, spacing. Editorial and Compact ship as defaults.
• Template is the job: welcome, receipt, password reset. The job decides the tokens and the pipeline (marketing or transactional).

Do not treat a Theme as a Template. Changing the look does not change who gets the letter or why it sends.

Adaptive Journeys

A published Adaptive Journey is the send path. It waits, branches, and sends letters. New letter tests use an Experiment step on the same letter, not a retired Adaptive Branch.
