Adoption

Adoption is how you see who finished a thing in your product, and whether a letter helped.

Each Milestone is one thing a person finishes (pasted the snippet, ran their first report). On the Path, every Milestone is an Adaptive Journey. The Path is the face: sequence, On, who finished. The canvas is how you edit the clock, exits, and any letters.

A Milestone is not a Target. A Target is an aggregate number by a date. A Milestone is per person, per feature.

The Path

Open Engagement → Adoption. The header reads: The Path. Drag to sequence. Turn a Milestone on to measure. Write letters on the Adaptive Journey.

You can:

  • Drag milestones into the order people should finish them
  • Turn a Milestone On for Production, Beta, or Dev
  • Open the Adaptive Journey behind it to write a Nudge (they have not finished) or a Celebration (they have)

A Milestone with no letter is still a journey. That is just-track: people finish or they do not. Add letters later and publish again.

How a person moves

Not yet. They have not fired the event (or matched the trait) that means done.

Done. They fired it. The Celebration send, if you wrote one, can fire. The Nudge stops.

Stills of your product (Not yet / Done) are pictures you attach. Apex does not invent a default still and cannot sign into your product.

Letters

  • Nudge — the letter when they have not finished. A Send on the deadline arm. Optional.
  • Celebration — the letter when they finish. A Send on the event arm. Optional.

Nudges are marketing-class. They respect unsubscribe, opt-out, and frequency caps.

The holdout

A slice of people is held out of journey sends so lift is honest. Lift = adoption among people who could be nudged − adoption among the holdout. See Global Holdout and Calibrated Impact.
